Time together is never quite enough

Impish little Tok Lah, I hope you know i've been thinking about you.

I’m not somebody who’s particularly very good with words; especially when those words are supposed to portray emotions. Add that to the fact that I don’t like to share intimate or 'raw' moments with people, or even more so strangers.

I’m not going to say that this trip has changed my life because it hasn’t. My life back home is the same. Singapore is the same. What I will say is that I’m glad that I’ve met some amazing people during this trip, and if I’m lucky, I think I’ve just made some lifelong friends.

Aaah I can't adjust back to the mundane. Life was so exciting in Cambodia. I miss the people, the food, the guest-house, the insects (strangely enough), and everything else. I wouldn't mind spending my life going into different countries in the spirit of volunteer-ism. Scratch that, it'd be a dream come true to be able to do so.

To the people who've made this trip possible, a million thank you's from the bottom of my heart. To the team, you've been a pleasure to work with. To my new friends, meet-up soon yeah? Would love to grow even closer to you guys even after the trip.
